Andrew Chernak introduces " Devils in the Attic"

Nationally recognized artist Andrew Chernak  introduced his newest sculpture. Mr. Chernak painstakingly studied the Shrivers’ attic to incorporate accurate details into his latest, extraordinary sculpture. His newest work, "Devils in the Attic", depicting sharpshooters taking cover in the Schrivers’ attic, was unveiled during a special presentation. He was also available to sign pieces of his work from 5-7 pm. Andrew’s sculptures have been commissioned by the U.S. Army Museum at West Point as well as the US Army & National Guard; his work can been seen in movies such as The Last of the Mohicans and The Patriot.

During the unveiling, Mr. Chernak remarked that during his extensive research for his sculpture, The Shriver House garret is the only documented sharpshooters nest that has been restored and still standing.
